The State and Curb were good, but then they decided to dumb it down and even started bragging about how they made it way more simple.......hmmmm sound familiar?

I honest to god think this is Nickelback's best work........i don't care what you pissants say, I like the new Nickelback album and I'm not ashaimed to say it. You all blow donkeynuts anywho. I'm just kiddin I'm feelin evil.

Although their cover of "Saturday Night's Alright (for a fight)" is kinda lame. Hell, "Someday" eats the hell outta "How You Remind Me".

My Nickleback Rant...

About a year and a half ago, I got tickets to a radio festival which Nickleback was playing at. I was mainly going for Lit and Bush, but I actually liked Nickleback at the time. About a week before the show, I picked up their album "The State" and, while I only listened to it maybe 2-3 times before the show, I did like it. I was actually planning on buying another one or 2 of their albums in the next week or so. So, I get to the concert and Nickleback comes on stage. They played a few songs which, although I don't think they were as good as they sounded on the album, I enjoyed. The crowd seemed less than enthusiastic about their performance for the most part although I could tell there were a few big-time fans in the audience as well. Then, apparently some guy in the front yelled something rude to the band and the lead singer asked the guards to remove him. I thought that was a bit of an odd request, but I didn't hear what the guy said and I didn't think it was a big deal, so I just waited for the next song. Then, the singer said over the mic that they were not going to play any more songs until this guy was removed from the audience. Again, I gave them the benifit of the doubt thinking that they were probably just joking and would play another song in a matter of seconds. They didn't. They stood there for like well over a minute (which might not sound like much, but when you're paying to see a concert and the artist is just standing there not performing or even saying anything, it's a long time). Finally, this guy was removed and they played the rest of their set. But, at this point, I had lost interest. I didn't even bother clapping for the rest of their songs. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that the person who yelled the comment to the band was right for doing that, but the band acted even worse than that guy IMO. I mean the guy was PAYING to be at the concert while the band was GETTING PAID to play. This was contrasted a few weeks (maybe a few months?) before when I went to a Weezer concert. I had never heard of the opening band, but they (theSTART) quickly became one of my all time favorite bands. They were getting booed before they even played their first note, but they realized that there were some people who were likely to discover them and buy their cds and such. Perhaps even a small group of people who were mainly there to see them. They ignored the booing and seemed to be having a good time on stage and were even very thankful to the few people who seemed appreciative of their music. Well, to make a long story short (oh, it's already long, nevermind :freak: ) I have purchased every START album and EP...even the unofficial tribute but have not purchased so much as one more Nickleback cd.
