They Might Be Giants - Space Suit
Phish - First Tube
Mark Oliver Everett - Manual's Got a Train to Catch
Cake - Arco Arena
Craig Armstrong - Ball (perhaps not rock, more techno-y, but still kickass)
Eels - Going To Your Funeral (part II)
Flaming Lips - Approaching Pavonis Mons by Balloon (Utopia Planitia)
Henry Faltermeyer - Axel F
Michael Manring - Sung to Sleep (piano)
Minimalistix - Close Cover (techno)
Moby - Hymn
Natalie MacMaster - Blue Bonnets Over the Border (violin - the most beautiful song that ever was)
Again, ask and ye shall receive.

Just found another really good one. It's on the new EP of an emo band called Anadivine. It's the last song called The Frequency Hostage, some vocals at the end, but I'd still classify it as instrumental.

The only 2 I've heard.
Linkin Park - Session (awesomely cool)
and
I Mother Earth - the hidden track at the end of the album (it's actually just a guitar, but whatever, it's kewl.

)

i like the lp instrumentals. the apc and tool instrumentals are also amazing. this one may not be an instrumental, but the end of born to kill by matthew good. its devastatingly brilliant.
