Now that I'm back on my computer I have a few more. I actually have a playlist on iTunes with all my sad songs. Sorry if some of these were already mentioned:

Radiohead - How I Made My Millions
Elliott Smith - Needle In the Hay
Dave Matthews Band - Crash Into Me
The Watchmen - No Longer Mine
John Lennon - Imagine
Bruce Springsteen - Secret Garden (not so much sad, but really mellow)
OLP - Julia (piano)
BNL - Call and Answer
Verve Pipe - Freshmen
Sarah McClachlan - Angel
Des'ree - Kissing You (from Romeo & Juliet. The Leo one) Kinda embarrased I even listen to this song. Oh well. Not my typical style.

Those are all over the map in style, but all pretty mellow and sad.

i forgot some of the best ones. something corporate is one of those 'even our happy songs make you want to burst into tears' bands for me. letters to noelle, walking by, konstantine, ben franklin's kite, caldecott tunnel, cavanaugh park, heroine..all good.
there's something about andrew's voice and that dang piano that make you want to cry like a kid that ran into a fence.

...uh. bad comparison, eh?

konstantine and cavanaugh park are such great songs...

The Freshmen is the most amazing song. The lead singer of Verve Pipe and the lead singer of Sponge are doing an acoustic set here, and I will be there. It will be amazing to hear The Freshmen acoustic.

Welcome to the board.
