Those are some awesome movies especially Dark City. Though I prefer the first Evil Dead to Army of Darkness. I guess I wasn't in the right frame of mind when I saw AofD. I heard a crazy rumour that if Freddy vs Jason was a success (which it is) than they might go ahead with another film with Freddy, Jason and Ash. Considering New Line doesn't own Evil Dead I doubt it would happen, but I'm sure Ash would kick some serious ass.

Evil Dead series

I keep trying to fit the Book of the Dead DVD into my budget but it hasn't worked out yet :( I am just starting to read Bruce Campbell's autobiography though. :)

I also just read a rumour in Entertainment Weekly that Michael Myers from Halloween might be in a sequel. The guy who owns the rights is apparently interested. I think that would be a better fit than Ash.

Punch Drunk Love, I can say with authority, is the Worst Movie Ever.

Gave me a panic attack, made me cry, I have never been so thoroughly fucked up just by watching a stupid movie.

I wouldn't say I know alot about it at all, but I love movies.

Wanan, that is awesome. I want to work in television or movie production.

I really didn't like Gattaca whatsoever, and although I'm a John Cusack fan High Fidelity was just So-So... Same with Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. It was good, but not as good as I was expecting, thus a let down.

The Evil Dead series rules. I have all three posters on my wall! I feel like bombarding The Producation company with requests for another sequel.

It did the same thing to other people I know. Something about the sound in that movie triggers certain people to go haywire.

Should be illegal, I says.

I love when a movie fucks with me a bit. I always know it's been one of the best I've seen if I can't get it out of my head for hours, or days. Not everybody likes that, but I like when films touch me in some way I never new was possible, or alters my perceptions a bit.

Gattaca is one of my all time favorite movies.

I guess I will have to get Punch Drunk love next. I watched Gods and Generals last night. God that was the most boring thing I ever saw, and I'm a history buff. Now I have to go watch Lizzie Maquire....

I would normally agree with you, but that movie REALLY fucked me up, and it was not a good experience. :uh:

that was the only whole point of the movie.... its supposed to fuck with you

But WHY would I want to see a movie that left me totally FUCKED OVER? That's not entertainment. That's torture!

wait aren't you the one that said you only like to see good movies? not the bad ones?

and did you pay attention to anything else in punch drunk love? like the cinematography? my god it was amazing.

the silouhette scene was so great.

I COULDN'T pay attention to cinematography, because I was too busy yelling at my sister to turn the fucking thing OFF...

Anyway, yes, I only watch good movies; unfortunately sometimes my good movie ESP fails. Alas. :iamaloser:

no such thing as good movie ESP

you aren't a movie buff, you're just a normal person who enjoys movies

if you can't sit through a movie once and pick it apart and examine the different things that make up a movie, then you can't be a movie buff.

and you don't know a movie is good until you watch it. its impossible to tell before hand.

i always thought sleepy hollow was gonna be a bad movie then i watched it and it turned out pretty good, mainly because johnny depp is amazing.
