in the 8 years i lived in miami, we probably had at least one close call with hurricanes each year...except for andrew....which actually hit.....one of the most horrible things ever

Hurricane Gloria was such a letdown...it was in '85 if I remember correctly, and the weather people said it was going to be horrible, and we didn't even lose cable, much less power.
It just rained a lot.

that's what happens when a cold front brings in cool, dense air which pushes underneath the warmer, moist air, forcing it to rise, cool, and condense, resulting in heavy rain. frontal precipitation is a glorious thing, friends.

I love storms, but do you know what really sucks not having power for 24 hours because of some stupid trasformer thing. I couldn't do anything, no TV no Computer and no music

storms do suck, you wanna know why? because they come in from the gulf looking all big and shit, and everyone is hyping them:
"yeah man, it's gonna be a big one, it's gonna bring lots of rain"
so then it's on its way, then all of a sudden it shrinks......and curves away from you, leaving you high and dry.
well.....you know what.?, fuck you Tropical Storm erika, your a godamn failure in my eyes and in the eyes of other tropical storms. SLUT!

I hate living in the northeast. So far, here's the year's weather in Michigan
January-March: Mild weather. Constantly in the 30s. One day in March, we were in the 70s.
April: Like 12 inches of fucking snow over two days. What the hell? Freezing cold.
May-July: Excluding one week, we never got above the 70s, which sucks, considering I need it to be really hot to actually use my pool.
August: Miserably hot. 90s.
Who knows what will happen for the rest of the year?

Fuck, we should start a band and move to London, Dan. They love Alkaline Trio and bands of the sort over there, and hate the shit that is huge here. I mean, if Alkaline Trio can have a #1 hit over there, why are we wasting away here?
