I am kinda like that too....not quite as obsessed, but pretty close....although my friends would probably say im worse. Oh well....I have a great time listening to, reading about, and talking about OLP.
Is there something good, something more?
Is there anything worth dying for?

My friends say I am obbsessed but I don't often dream about them. I have all their cds and I have posters of them. I am currently making a olp t-shirt so I can wear it to school. I have been to two, soon three of their concerts in the past year and every time they are on the radio I scream and turn it way up. Thats about it.

I think you need to lighten up when it comes to OLP.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

Mechanical Thought wrote:I agree. Thats a little ... weird. :freak: some things I do are like those you listed. I do keep concert things like gum wrappers in a binder-type thing, but thats for all concerts I go to.
Is this thread suppose to justify your OLP fandom or something along those lines? Not to sound bitchy, just a brainstrom. I noticed that alot of people who are new to boards take on that persona. Nothing rude intended, though.

No, No... you didn't sound bitchy at all. Actually, I'm not as new to this board as you think :P I had an old username, but forgot the the username and password because I hadn't logged on in a couple months... therefore, I lost that account :( (had to go through a huge hassle making a new account and new e-mail too grrrh) I'm not justifying my fandom, because, personally, I don't think anyone should have to. I was just posting a topic that would be fun to talk about- everyone's obsession with OLP. I kinda wanted to get away from the negative OLP threads. I know, I know, there is a thread right now that deals with that exact issue ('Why is everyone so negative about OLP lately'), but I thought this would be fun! I don't post often though because I'm scared I may be called a newbie- that's my worst nightmare! :P

Yes, OLP is one of the best, but there is other great music out there!

:::troy:::

I was sort of exaggerating when I said that, I'll admit... 75% of the time it's OLP. There are alot of other bands i like to, not like OLP though. I'm quite picky about the music I listen to.

ooh, i found another windsorite!

I don't think there's anything wrong with you, as long as olp is the only band you've been this obsessed about.. it might be a little extreme if you do this with every band you like though..lol

You arent too bad. You didnt say that you follow them home or try to steal their dog! You're just obsessed over the music it sounds like to me. I have a few of your traits, but i do appreciate more bands out there too and since im a girl, i dont try to talk or dress like the guys. And I dont like Chantal just cause she is raine's wife, in fact, i dont like her music at all. :lol: but i do try to sneak backstage every chance I get and so far, its worked 3 out of 7 times :P

Well, I'd say you're not normal... a bit obessessive about them. I once saw myself in point where I could only listen to OLP, but that's gone away...

And yeah... I'd say that's a bit too much, but hey, each to his own.
:wtf:

Cheers.

Yeppers! I'm a Windsorite. A Windsorite whose been in the dark the past few days- metaphorically and literally. Nope, OLP is the only band I have been like this with- ever since I was in grade 5 when I did a project on them- 7 years later I pretty much devote my life to them! Only if they knew who I was..... :drool: :drool:
