I am like the only OLP fan in Calgary other than like 4 other people! IT SUCKS! My friend is in Toronto right now and he says that he's met so many people that like OLP! I told him that I have to move to Toronto, and he was like "then who will represent them in Calgary?" It was a good point, so don't feel bad! Anyways, I'm actually kind of lucky because at first no one liked OLP the slightest bit out of all my friends...in fact school! The only thing that anybody ever liked was rap and R&B! Uggg, anyways, I'm ashamed to say that I used to once like it too. Rock just wasn't accepted. Then I got into OLP and converted almost instantaneously. After being bugged about my fanaticism over the band for a good year, my friends finally started to realize that OLP actually kicked a lot of ass. In fact, most of them thought that they had never heard of OLP before, until I played a bunch of their older music for them where they would reply with "oh, I know that song! I didn't know OLP did that! I LOVE THAT SONG!" It's taken a long time but I've converted quite a bit of my friends! They aren't HUGE OLP fans, but they at least don't bug me anymore (not as much) and one of my friends even bought all of OLP's CD (minus the Live CD and all of OLP's rarities)! She absolutely loves them!
