This is not EMO
For some reason it surprises me that you joined this board because of your fondness of OLP but don't post in the OLP-related threads?

sweet blasphemy my giving tree
it hasn't rained in years
i bring to you this sacrificial offering of virgin ears
leave it to me i remain free from all the comforts of home
and where that is i'm pleased as piss to say
i'll never really know

while i'm not interested in getting into a fight with you, i think emily pretty much has that covered, did you just copy and paste from fourfa? seriously, anyone else who chooses rites of spring and fugazi as examples for what is emo, should die. i swear people, there are other bands out there i'm sure of it.

Megan, I like Fugazi. I like them a lot. And guess what, they are one of the original, not to mention, best emo bands ever. Don't talk shit about them.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
yeah thanks, i know who fugazi are. i wasn't talking shit about them. you know what they say about people who assume. i was just saying that anyone who has ever had an argument about emo used rites of spring and fugazi as examples, and that just happens to be the two bands listed on the front page of that emo site that everyone goes to. no big deal, dude.

I thought you were trashing the band. I didn't even know that website existed, I should go check it out. Sorry Megan.

Hah, according to this site, I like only a handfull of emo bands. Fugazi, Samiam, Hot Water Music, and Eliiot in phase one.
None in phase two.
Iconoclast out of phase three.
Every single band out of phase four.
I got confused in phase five.
Now all I want to know is what do you classify Alkaline Trio in?

Sorry, it helps if you would tell us your name, or at least give us the gender icon.
