Just because I am sexy, naked, a bassist, and sporting a top hat doesn't make me Duncan Coutts!

Meh, an Alkaline Trio question was asked and I wasn't around to answer. I feel so...dirty.

Anyways, here's my list of Alkaline Trio songs that make me hyper and happy.

Cop
Cringe
Bloodied Up
Trucks and Trains
Steamer Trunk (even though it's very much not a happy song)
Armageddon
My Little Needle
Donner Party
Emma
While You're Waiting

A lot of these songs don't have the happiest of lyrics, but the music just overpowers the sad out of them. They're all fast, and honestly, worth listening to for a quick pick me up in the morning. I like them, but then again, I am also obsessive when it comes to the Trio. Give them a shot, they should make you happy.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

did someone say "four days until the greatest week of my life?"

i guess not
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.
