My friend is friends with Derek Grant, the drummer for Alkaline Trio and former drummer of the Suicide Machines and The Vandals. Yeah, the girl and I have become closer friends since I found out about that. I wish some one from my high school would become famous, so I could say I knew him.
My dad is friends with Mickey Redmond, the "voice" of the Detroit Red Wings, and that bastard still hasn't invited me to sit in on a Red Wings practice damnit.
