My Television Rant
I agree with that!
I don't see a point to them really, nor do I find them "sexy"

Well .. if you want a point to them .. they hide your underwear lines so if you're wearing a dress or tight fitting pants and you don't want people to see the lines, then a thong comes in handy.
I find them comfortable and you and my other friend, are the very first guys I've ever heard say they don't find them sexy.

I understand the actual point of them. I dunno why I put that I didn't....

Ahhh, thongs are not that great. The way I see it is, why see a girl in a thong when you can put a little bit more effort in and get her to just be naked? I suppose I get a bit more of a thrill with naked ass than with mostly naked ass with some cotton between the cheeks.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
Well .. some girls look at thongs as being sort of a tease .. by just having a little bit showing under their jeans .. it draws the guys eyes that's for sure.

Well, since Guga rushed himself back from an injury last year to play the French Open, he hasn't been the same. I am sorry, but I think his dominance is kind of over...and I love the guy. He's my favorite male player, along with Marat Safin (who didn't even enter the tournament after making it to the semifinals last year) and Nicolas Lapentti, who lost to Costa in the third round.
Now for the ladies. I am soooo glad that Venus lost. I can watch the women's final again and expect to see good tennis! It's a shame Justine Henin has to play Serena Williams in the semis, because damn, that match will be the final. I think Justine will take the match, she's beaten Williams already this year on clay, and Justine plays her best on the stuff. It might be an all Belgian final this year, because Kim Clijsters will not lose until at least the final.
For any more tennis picks, just ask me, because hey, I know what I am talkin about.

Well, obviously the one where they line the inside with sandpaper and little metal spikes. Duh.

Why did Marat Safin not enter this year? I haven't really been keeping up since tennis season ended because I was a little tennis-ed out at the time. Anyways, Andre is out now too! I actually thought he would take it this year, sad. Oh, and yeah I'm glad Venus is out too, I just find the Williams sisters to be completely annoying now, no matter how good they are.

Marat Safin did not enter because he's had injury problems the past few years. With the ATP, they require you to play all the tournaments in the Tennis Master's Series to receive a bonus, and considering Safin is a poor man from Russia, he tries to play in all the tournaments. After playing in all the tournaments since 1998, and having no real off-season, your body breaks down. He's had a bad back and wrist problems since 2000, after he won the US Open, and never got to take the time to rest. Now the injuries are so bad that he actually has to sit out tournaments to get his body back into functioning shape again. Come 2004, he'll be top 10 in the world again.
As much fun as it is to believe Andre Agassi would win the French Open, it would never happen. The guy is 33 and he's playing on clay. I don't know if you've played on clay before, but I have, and that surface just kills you. The ball goes slower, it doesn't bounce as well, and it's impossible to end the point consistantly. The best way to play on it is by just hitting the ball back, and no matter who it is, no 33 year old man can take out people half his age every other day for two weeks. In fact, Andre should have lost in the second round. He got lucky. Mario Ancic got cramps in the fifth set and couldn't run the shots down.
Yes, I think nearly everyone hates the Williams' sisters. That is why the women on tour last year flat out said they're ruining the game and killing TV ratings everywhere except for the US, which is true. But the thing is, there are no new women out there that can really take out Venus and Serena constantly. Henin and Clijsters are the only two that can really get the job done with some frequency. Out of the younger girls, I don't see too many stars coming out. There's Marat Safin's sister, Ashley Harkleroad (who will probably become the next Anna Kournikova), and Anastacia Myskina. That Petrova girl is a one tournament wonder. She won't have a career come 2005.
Look for Martin Verkerk to take out Coria in the next round. It should be Verkerk and Juan Carlos Ferrero in the finals, with Ferrero completely dominating Verkerk. If it's not Ferrero in the finals, it will be Gonzales. If his game is on, he can beat anyone left in the field. He's too strong, but then again, he is a psycho, so anything is possible.
For women, meh, it will be Serena Williams again. The real final will be in the semis where Williams plays Justine Henin, but I don't see Justine winning that match. Kim Clijsters will steamroll Petrova, but she won't play well in the finals. She lost the first set 0-6 in her 4th round match and it looked like she forgot how to play tennis. It was brutal. Sure, she turned around and won the match 6-1, 6-1 after that, but if you give Serena Williams, or even Justine Henin a lead like that, you're going to lose.

yeah, i'm actually anticipating the men's final quite a bit, it should be interesting. As for the t.v. ratings, i think that's crap that they would say that (even though i highly dislike both of them) because tennis shouldn't have to do with t.v. ratings, and no i'm not dumb i know that's basically all they want it just irks me that they're using that as they're argument. and i'm also really pulling for henin, although i don't think she's ever beaten serena in a major tournament before. ah well, the french is my least favorite of the majors anyway. i'm all about wimbledon. oh, and no, i haven't played on clay although i really hope to sometime.

I guess after a while they feel ok. I mean, I remember when i first switched to boxers I felt naked. But now I feel .. nothing. you know?
PS Silk boxers... WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE they are cool
