3DD sucks... I hope these shows are the only ones they do with them.

3DD, etc

Seems like most of these are in the midwest...which I don't think I've seen them tour too extensively in the past. Maybe trying to reach a new market again or something.

Also, there is some big gaps in between dates(ie 7/9-7/18 and 7/20-8/02), so like someone already mentioned...they'll probably be adding some more to make it worthwhile.

Either way, I am simply impressed that they are doing another tour at all. by far one of the hardest working bands on the radio.

As for who headlines...that's gonna be a toss-up I'd say. My vote is for OLP of course, but 3DD has a failrly recent album out too, and 'When I'm Gone' hit #1 on BB top 40. And of course they seem to be a bit more well known in the states. Regardless, should be a good show...hope they add some more dates near the east coast... later all. :P

It could be a co-headline tour even. Look at the Aerosmith?kiss tour this summer.

no matter what you may think or feel the band are really excited about these shows. If they are happy it will come across in their performance. I am just happy to see them play again.

Yeah, Rob is right. You can't take a "Go America" band with moderate success and have them open for a Canadian band with a lead singer that doesn't agree with the war in Iraq. I kind of feel bad for OLP opening for 3DD because there's going to be large groups of drunks with bottles at the shows, and if word gets out about Raine's views, then all hell will break loose on OLP.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Well, if they did have a show in Michigan, I probably wouldn't go to see it because I can't stand 3DD. Plus I think their new song on the radio or whatever is crap.

It's OLP though, short set or not, who cares. I'm a Canadian and I'm gonna pay more money with our crappy exchange rate, just to go see them in North Dakota on July 18th. I'll have already seen them on the 11th, 12th and 13th too

I'm personally not disappointed that they are going to be touring with 3DD, I'm not quite sure why everybody in heres a buncha haters. So they're from the south, who currs?
Outkast is from the south......I don't even listen to them and they're a couple of the most innovative rappers in the act.

Whether OLP is opening the tour dates or not.....I'm more than willing to make the four hour drive to Ohio and see them this summer. Just to see OLP live is great enough, and I'm glad its with a decent band.

Define me.......please!?

No offense, but I really don't see 3DD as decent. They are merely a 4-hit wonder and I don't believe they will be around for long, at least I hope not.

none taken! 8-)

But anywho.....think what cha will. 3DD is decent......I could name approximately 43 other bands that suck bigger ass than they do and shouldn't even be touring at all.
