your government was probably behind 9/11. does that count as agression against your citizens?

OK, we weren't responsible for 9/11, that's absurd. There is a good chance that 9/11 would have not happened if Gore got into office. His father wasn't an Arab hater like Bush Sr. was. Gore wouldn't make his entire cabinet all ex-Gulf War participaters either. If I was from an Arabic country, I would feel threatened the second Bush got sworn into office. If Gore got in though, I bet the attack wouldn't have happened, at leat not so soon.

hey you could have been, there's a guy, he has a theory, he's got some reasoning, it's possible.

in my mind the us gov't is just as likely a suspect of this unsolved mystery as saddam or bin laden.

bush, gore, gush, bore, all the same to me. but the point is, Gore didn't get elected, Bush did. you can't defend demockracy by saying "the other candidate would have been better" can you?

Come on Alan. Do you not know of the several bombs Clinton dropped on Iraq (without even consulting the UN I might add)? And did you protest that? Probably not. Clinton bombed Saddam every time he got out of hand (i.e. when he threw out weapons inspectors). Gore was VP while Clinton was president... yup.... Saddam would have loved Gore much more.

If you honestly believe we were behind 9/11.....I'm not even gonna respond because like "mr. jump to conclusions" said thats absurd. Bin Laden has taken credit for 9/11.

Hey, people make mistakes. I thought there was a flood of people enlisting into WWII and not a draft, and I was wrong. And I still believe that Bush is responsible for 9/11, and I can be wrong about that too. Shit happens.

who bloody knows? all i'm saying is, if right before the next election GWB's popularity is drooping and then all of the sudden old OBL pops up, well......

He did claim responsibility.....I can search for the transcript if you want but I assure you he did. Also it makes no sense for BL to be on the CIA payroll. Why would he want to bring this much attention to people of his own race and religion? Or is he not really Arab and muslim either??? LOL Please this is the weakest of your arguments Doug.

I really don't think that he his. I'm not saying the most recent recordings are him because they haven't proven anything other than they "think" its him. I do however believe that the islamic extremists would be celebrating his marytrdom and the US would be doing claiming a victory in the War against Terror. I believe that the extremists would use his death as more of a reason to strike back and they would use it as a motivator.

no because I think they're more dangerous with him. He is by far the most experienced guy in the field if you will. I think without him al qaeda would split into smaller groups with much less brain power. There would be a big fight among successors as to who takes over and they'd end up forming their own groups. Al Qaeda as it is today would become diluted, less threatening, and nowhere near as organized.

i still think the only way to ensure a lasting peace is to foster a positive relationship with middle easterners and not invade their homeland.
