as you may or may not know, as of January 6th, 2003, all Canadian Much content has been removed from the MMUSA line-up. this is a problem that needs fixing! check out http://www.mmusa.tk and sign the petition!

^^^ Goodluck, but it won't work. I emailed them back in 2001(june) when they first changed over. A bunch of us emailed them continutously throughout the year. The powers that be pretty much bought the name and changed it to what they want to play in the USA.

One of the things I loved about MM(whcih by the way is huge all over the world like MTV is)was that i got to see all the Canadian artist I loved. It was only a matter of time before they changed 100%.
I will say this. I do not liek that Julya girl> She is so phony if you asked me. GEE maybe I should do my own show. I use to have purple hair and listen to the heavy metal when I was in my early 20's also. Anyway I do wish you well, but they won't change.

you can still go to www.muchmusic.com and get some infor that way.

not true, i've heard from various people that MMUSA (Rainbow Media, part of Cablevision) is leasing the name "MuchMusic" from CHUM. Their lease runs up this June (CHUM will not be allowing them to renew the lease), at which time mmusa will have to either 1)change their name or 2)voluntarily bring back canadian programming (not likely) CHUM is currently looking at their options and may be attempting to relaunch Canadian Much, and also possibly MuchMoreMusic here in the states as early as this summer, either alone or with a US partner. But don't get your hopes up, as this is all very preliminary.

^^^ The color bars are still there. I rarely watch MMUSA now. I watch MTV2 and VH1. I miss Much Music. thank GOD I have friends in Canada and am somewhat friendly with one of the Vj's from Much.

yeah, my bad. it was just for that random intelligence show that the bars were gone. next time you see rick the temp ask him how he feels about not being on the air down here anymore. im interested to hear how the vjs feel about this stupid mmusa crap.

remember the good old days when the MM vjs used to just hang around and be really random and do hilarious, weird things...now, there's all these stupid, useless shows and it's not original at all...I MISS SOOK-YIN LEE!!!!
