your opinion sucks
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

And the most arrogant post of the month goes to.....

Seriously, when will you people learn that mainstream doesn't equate crap. And excuse me, how is Our Lady Peace any more alternative than Incubus, aren't they just as mainstream? Not like you don't hear them on the radio, and yes I'm talking about even before the release of Gravity, Our Lady Peace has always been mainstream, so? Does that mean they're bad? Radiohead has the largest fan base it is safe to conclude that, are you calling that crap now?

Personally, at first I hated Morning View, I thought it sucked and thought S.C.I.E.N.C.E and Make Yourself was way better. But then it grew on me, and found out Morning View is actually the most refined and mature album out of all. Incubus has mastered their sound and instrument at this point and no longer relying on the angsty heavy metal platform which they outgrew. However, I no longer listen to Incubus anymore for some reason, last year they were my favourite band, now I'm just outgrew them.

I really still think Make Yourself is their best album. If an album doesn't pull me immediately in in the very beginning, I don't get as excited about it. With Morning View I was just skipping over tracks that caught my eye, and it didn't seem all that interesting. And Verizon, if you start a thread asking other people's opinions, don't put them down when they say something you don't agree with or don't like. That's just S.H.I.T.
