It's the name one of my friends (the one who got me into Alkaline Trio and Eddie Money) named my mom for some reason. No idea how it spawned. Besides, jambalaya is a cajun dish, while Jumanji is an African board game.

sweet blasphemy my giving tree
it hasn't rained in years
i bring to you this sacrificial offering of virgin ears
leave it to me i remain free from all the comforts of home
and where that is i'm pleased as piss to say
i'll never really know

we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

Am I missing something? No one mentioned Matt Good.
Ok, my top 5 changes a lot, right now it is:
MGB - Last of the Ghetto Astronauts
I have no idea, this used to be my least favourite MGB album, it should be. But here we are rating by album, by the completeness of it. Beautiful Midnight should be my favourite, but I listened to it so much that one night I tried to listen to it I just couldn't get through it.
Tom Waits - Alice
Probably Tom Waits's best work imao, but I haven't heard much of his stuff though. No doubt, best album of 2002.
Aimee Man - Lost in Space
Alright, I can't get enough of this, Pavlov's Bell, Humpty Dumpty and It's Not just gets stuck in my head, even in this second.
Portishead - Live in Roseland NYC
Need I say more? It's friggin Portishead!
Radiohead - Kid A/Amnesiac
I like to conclude these two as one album, after all Amnesiac is lke a bside of Kid A, and when I finish listening to Kid A it's just not enough, there's a tingling feeling that Amnesiac can fullfill. Otherwise OK Computer should be on this spot.
And is this my top 5? There are so much more to say!
Sigor Ros - ( )
Massive Attack - Mezzanine
OLP - Spritual Machines
Donnie Darko OST
Waking Life OST
Bjork - Verspertine (or maybe Homogenic)
Tortoise - s/t
And lots lots more. Remember, this list reflect the top albums imo right NOW. It might change tomorrow, who knows.

Al's emails put a smile on my face, even though all they say is "You've got a private message!"
