Prelude

I vote for that too.

Basically, scratch that list, and get a different honda.

Civic, Prelude, Accord, Del Sol........ect.

Acually, get a new Civic Hybrid. Those kick ass. Plus, REBATE!!!

hmmm... I didn't know that. All i've seen of it is the commercial. But it kicks ass in the comercial .....so if that makes me irregularily feminine than i guess i'm irregularily feminine?

My first car was an '87 Pontiac Grand Am and it went over 200,000 miles. My second car was an '88 Pontiac Grand Prix and it went over 160,000 miles. My third car was a '99 Pontiac Grand Prix SE and it got totalled at 74,000 miles. =( So then I bought a '99 Pontiac Grand Prix GT >=) and I'm at 56,000 miles right now.

Can you tell that I like Pontiacs (specifically Grand Prixs) ??

I can't afford to have my own car .. the only reason I had my own car for a year was cuz it was a hand me down from my bro when he bought a new car. It was a 1987 Nissan Sentra

what you need is a ford maverick, or maybe even a AMC eagle, or better yet, the pimpest of all crappy cars....the plymoth sundance.

what's sad is that my neighbor has a maveric and a sundance parked in her garage.

hondas....can't go wrong with them. got me a 94 accord (LX) with 185,000 and it runs very nice. the only major problem were CV joints, that's it! then my dad had to top me and got a 95 accord (ex, loaded) and that bad boy has 92,000 miles on it with no major problems. i want a prelude engine in my accord before it goes over 200,000 miles. :D

if i wuz your dad i'd grab one of the Mazda's

the MSP is hot and it has a turbo and that makes me grin deep inside.

but the mazda 6 looks neat and the V6 is not a bad power plant.

however i also have to go with "none of those" and make a few other recomendations:

the king of all sport compacts; the almight  DODGE NEON SRT-4.  Pitty me for in lowly canada this blessed machine is not avaialbe :crying: but i am aware of their godliness from reading several issues of SCC. turbo + little dodge = fast and fun.

The new Alitma rules.

the WRX is also very good. turbo and AWD..

lots of choices.

neon?! *gag*

also, this is not just your ordinary protege. it's the mazdaspeed protege. exclusivity. only 2000 made. it seriously handles like a racecar.

and we went to the honda dealership. the only car i liked was (possibly) the element because it was so spacious, and the civic coupe. i think it was the civic coupe... but it was way to hard to get in the back seat since it wasn't 4 door. plus the mazdaspeed protege is four door, and it looks like a sports car. plus it comes with spicy orange. i'm pretty sure we're going with the mazda. thank you for your input. continue to vote if you wish.

i'm just glad that your not getting a truck...i hate trucks. they're not real safe and insurance rates are so damn high for a truck that you could probably get a really good sports car insured cheeper.

the dodge neon SRT-4 won Sport Compact Car's car of the year award. it also beat the Mazdaspeed Protege in a comparison test. i think they cost about the same.

but isn't this your DAD's car? won't he feel wierd tooling around in a protege that has had the living shit modified out of it?
