nfg has the worst crowds ever. asshole frat boys and sassy preteen girls.

well. good charlotte's fat pink haired chicks are pretty bad too.
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

I like the Good Charlotte fans much less. I haven't met one that is not rather portly yet, but that's beside the point. They all have really bad attitude problems, like the fact that they like an MTV band gives them some supreme right to be a complete bitch in public. I was at a mall with my friend and I am wearing an Alkaline Trio hoodie and a Rancid hat, and they call me a poser, while they're all decked out in either Good Charlotte or Simple Plan shirts. I just laugh at them, seeing that they don't know what real music is and all, and one has the audacity to throw a shoulder at me, which hit like my hip, seeing that they're all little girls anyway.

In other words, I hate those fucking losers that think they're important for liking a band that pop culture tells you to like. If magazines and web sites made to rate "punk" music say something is garbage, then it probably is not that good. There's a reason they have jobs to rate music. Just because some one says "like this band, it's the happening thing to do" does not mean you have the right to act like a badass and think you're better than all the rest of the trendy assholes you are associated with.

Someone said that they thanked OLP in their linear notes....... and a seperate thanks to Mike Turner..... I don't even want to know how they've been an influence to them.

I remember when liking OLP was weird/different. And now people I know who like really good music tell me they suck becuasue they're turning mainstream. It's a catch 22.

I was then to be part of the mystery,
to love and be loved. Let's just hope that is enough.

I guess this is an appropriate thread to rant in.... I was like the first person I know to start wearing like stupid Salvation Army t-shirts and stuff, and now I go to a concert, and all these faggy guys are wearing them and it pisses me off so much. Go back to your t-shirts with Abercrombie stitched on the front....

Simple Plan thanked Arnold Lanni and Mike Turner seperately and they thanked OLP because they were at Summersault together .. there's nothing wrong with bands having influence on other bands .. that's what it's all about .. I mean Good Charlotte thanked over 30 different bands including Silverchair, Foo Fighters, and Dashboard Confessional .. their concert was one of the best concerts I've ever been too .. they're all amazing guys

Simple Plan did do all that thanking of OLP and what not. Apparently OLP and Simple Plan are on the same management corporation or something, and the Summersault thing helped too.
