I have 3 tattoos: a butterfly on my ankle, a caterpillar on my hip and a flower armband .. I have plans for 3 more tattoos

Piercings: I have 3 in my left ear (including cartiledge) and 4 in my right ear (including cartiledge) and I have a belly ring and my tongue is pierced .. I had my lip pierced in the centre for about a month but had to take it out for employment reasons .. I'm getting my eyebrow pierced once I quit this job and go away to school

Out of all those piercings .. my advice .. Don't get your lip pierced .. dear god .. the pain .. only piercing to bring tears to my eyes .. the others were a breeze ..

For guys getting their ears pierced .. don't go to some place like Claires or to a hairdressers .. they put studs in your ears and to me, studs on guys look really dumb ... go to a tattoo/piercer and have the hoops put in .. much sexier and not so lame

Sadly enough, yes. I really am not too keen on the whole piercing thing, and when I was there on Monday, I was like, I should get my ear pierced. So I figured I would go there and get it done, because I know where it is.

i actually got mine pierced at afterthoughts (near rainforest cafe) i dont know if claires does the same thing, but i think they are part of the same chain.

Go to someone who know's what they're doing .. the people at Claires have no skill when it comes to piercing .. I mean they're trained to work at a retail store not pierce body parts .. my ex had his done there and they're uneven and got infected

I would want to go to a tattoo parlor, but I'll end up with a heart with a skull in the middle of it somewhere on my body, and I can't do that to myself...yet....

that claires store scares me but i guess its better then a lot of the other places i have seen for piercings. there is this one place by me where its in a closet with just a rug in it...couldnt pay me enough.

Getting your ears pierced won't hurt .. just don't get your lip pierced .. say NO to getting your lip pierced

What about tongue? I might be ambitious and get my tongue done.

I was thinking about getting a peircing below my bottom lip, but when I asked my mom she was like "When you're 18 you can get whatever the hell you want done".

My tongue is pierced It didn't hurt .. I talked with a lisp for a few days and got to eat lots of ice cream and popsicles .. I've had it for about 4 years now

What about noses? Are noses bad?

unbelievable pain that piercing .. dear god .. no .. it's the slowest piercing to do, takes a bit longer than usual to make sure it's lined up correctly and there's quite a bit of skin to pierce .. I loved it once I had it but wow it hurt

A girl at school got one done and she said it wasn't all that bad...I think she may've let the hole close though because I haven't seen her wearing it

I think nose rings are gross but that's just me .. my ex's sister had one and it got infected so bad she was in the hospital with half her face swollen and purple .. plus when you have a cold you can't even blow your nose right and I heard that piercing hurts A LOT too .. that's a piercing I'd never do personally

My brother's girlfriend had one...She got it pierced twice, actually. The first time she woke up one morning and it had fallen out and the hole closed...Second time she got it done and got sick of it so she let the hole close
