I believe in love at first sight. I've felt it. the thing is, you can't just base it on that.

there has to be more there than just a look. you know? but YAH to love
It's great while you have it.

Aww. I think the best kind of love is when you meet someone and you don't ever expect them to someone you would love... then you get to know them and they slowly start to grow on you without you knowing it and ..

But to quote Raine "What do I know?"

Sure, I believe in love at first sight. It's not like it hurts anyone but you when you fall in love, and really, the more love the better, so why do we limit it so much? Or, rather, why do we insist on analyzing it and trying to figure out what "love" is instead of just feeling it? Because there's really nothing you can figure out, life is inextricably tied to sensation and emotion.

but there's more to love than "hey!"
would you die for someone you've only seen but think you're in love with?
love is being willing to walk hell for someone. to give all you can for that person, even your life.

Love can be great and Love can be hell. Eventually it all has to end or at least when your a teenager. Its not worth "loving" someone for more then a year when you know they are just going to break your heart. As for love at first sight, I agree lust at first sight is more like it. Love takes time and time will eventually run out. Maybe in a few years my opinion will change but for now love is an unecessary evil.

True enough, but there's room for lots of kinds of love, and automatically labeling most feelings "lust" is just cynical. I'd much rather go through life knowing as much beauty as I possibly can.

i think love is the ultimate beauty in life so i like to keep it sacred and pure
most people think love causes pain
i think otherwise
i think love is what heals the pain caused by human ignorance
love is perfect
love is everything

Yeah, I can understand and relate to that.
I just really don't think it's any less sacred if you feel a lot of it.
As far as pain and love causing it.. I don't really know. People treat pain so negatively, but there's beauty in suffering, and that's not just some lame "goth" sentiment.
Living causes pain. I think love is a part of life, so it's going to cause pain, too, and I'm completely happy with that. I chalk it up to certain Buddhist ideas that I live by.. I'm going to retain my serenity throughout my life, regardless of other factors. That's one thing I'm absolutely adamant about.
