I hope the Edge gives a deadline prior to the show for tickets to be picked up. If tickets aren't claimed, they should be made available again.
It's very easy to enter your e-mail in to a contest, win, yet have no intention of going. My brother wins Inside Edge contests all the time that he doesn't go to. He enters them out of boredom - and I give him hell. He's taking the spot of some fan who wants to be there.
At the same time, for those of us (I'm not getting mad at anyone because I'm doing this too!) trying for multiple pairs of tickets, make sure the tickets are actually used by somebody. Anyone. Give them to your parents, give them a Friday night out.
OLP has a great stage presence, but getting an entire arena in to a show is still difficult (unless you are U2...). And it's even harder when the arena is half-empty. I'd rather not have 6 empty seats beside me that belong to the dude in Delaware who sat on his computer signing up his dog's names for shits and giggles.

Yeah... sorry about that. I didn't mean to come across with such a Toronto-centric view. There are probably many people in your situation.
Nonetheless, I'm still concerned about this issue. You could have huge fans without tickets while many seats sit empty. That'd be bad.
Again, who knows what they'll do.

Yeah, same with me. I live in Detroit and I don't think I am going to drive up to Toronto to pick up tickets on a deadline date to go back home. I will be there the day before the concert, and that's when I will pick up my tickets, if I win. I mean, driving 4 hours to pick up 2 pieces of paper to drive another 4 hours home is a tad bit excessive, don't ya think?
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Y'know, it's not something I would enjoy doing... oh, I'd be bitching... but I'd make that kind of drive if I had to.
Keep in mind, if this was a normal show onsale through Ticketmaster, tickets would be in the $40-$50 range. You are getting two tickets for free. Driving 8 hours in a day is a waste of time, but the money you spend on gas/bus ticket/train/whatever still wouldn't add up to the $80-$100 that tickets should have been.
