Every now and then I fall out into open air just to feel the wind, rain and everything.
And though the hum and sway gets me down
, I'll find the way to peace and openness.

Your best bet is to start off with actual lessons. It may take some cash, but it's better than not knowing squat...

Blister is very easy to play... isn't it??

/\ Raine's part is just power chords, check R&s's Site for my rendition of it in there!

Oh and Liam, :P :)

Another fairly easy, yet good song is Slide by the Goo Goo Dolls.
Some of you probably think I left. But was I ever here to start?

yeah, I know how to play it (both Raine's and Mike's part)... I just didn't understand why OLPFan420 had so much difficulty with it

My guitar teacher could never come, so I learned most of Clumsy and SD by myself. Well, all of superman's dead. I can do clumsy now because my fingers finally started to stretch and knew where to go. My problem now is that my string is broken and I'm retarded and don't know how I should go about fixing it. It's an acoustic, and I'm afraid to get the pliars out... I always had my teacher do it for me, and now I don't know how. That's what being spoiled does to you.

I was then to be part of the mystery,
to love and be loved. Let's just hope that is enough.

Goto wholenote.com and start out on their lessons. Learn the fretboard, learn your basic open chords, go on to barre chords. Get some scales down, learn some basic power chord based songs (OLP is good for that). That seems like a good start...

TOWNSHEND: Bullshit! Bullshit! I'm not expected to do anything. Nobody is going to tell me what to do. Nobody is even going to ask me what to do. If anybody doesn't like it, that's their problem. It's my work. If someone doesn't like it, I can't help it.
