Ummm look at the site you have linked. Her picture is on the very top. It says "Chantal Kreviazuk"
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Damn I wish I could be in Toronto this Holdiay weekend.

OLP doing a video shot and Chantal and David usher playing together.

Oh well. that is life. I only hope that David comes down to the states eventually and Chantal tours here soonn.

Can one of you guys get me a copy of Chantal's song when it is played. I think it goes out next week to radio. you know down here we will never hear it.
thanks

Okay, then I *did* read correctly that it was Chantal.

I've never heard her music, what do y'all recommend? I don't have any file-sharing programs.

Leaving on a Jet Plane was the first Chantal song I heard and I was completely blown away by it. It brought a tear to me eye.

Leaving on a Jetplane is the only Chantal song I've heard. But it's very good.
Some of you probably think I left. But was I ever here to start?

Try Surrounded, Wayne, Eve (same subject as Raine's Stealing Babies), Soul Searching, M (same subject as Raine's Thief) and definitly Leaving on a Jet Plane and Feels Like Home

Well, I listened to some clips from her website last night (I can't remember what I thought about her version of Leaving on a Jet Plane) and I kinda liked 'em, though I'd like to think she would have an "interesting" singing voice as well.

I saw her CD in the store today and decided not to buy it for some reason. I also saw Sarah Harmer's You Were Here, and I finally realized that no matter how much tax there was, it was much cheaper at the Tulip Festival in Ottawa, and I haven't bought it yet.

Line?? Whats that? LOL. I have a very thin line for every band except OLP, who my parents let me see all the time, yay.

Gail......my show was interesting. During my very important class where I do a routine to music and am alone in the ring the train came in right next to the ring. It was lots of fun......our whole thing was her spazzing out and running around as fast as I would let her in any directiong she wanted while I smiled and pretended that it was what I had planned all along. I made her end right as the music ended, so it sort of looked like I had it planned out. LOL. I got second and when I got my ribbon they said " we took into account the train as an added obstacle" ya think? Right when we got out of the ring I had to jump off so she didn't kill me. Anyways.............

If I didn't have school I could go see Chantal:) I actually have to go look at the university again, maybe I'll plan it around OLP.

It was good .. Great Big Sea were awesome of course, Twigg is a band I'd like to hear more of cuz they were pretty good plus the singer looked hot 8-) Crush and Sam Roberts were okay, I only knew 1 song by each of them, Chantal was good .. she played some new songs, talked to the audience quite a bit, Avril was awesome, I love her  plus the one guitar player is HOT and then David Usher I missed cuz my friend was "bored"

I didn't meet up with anyone, couldn't find them :| :(
