grr...the security guard right in front of me kept getting up on his little steppy thing, and whenever he did my face should always end up right in his crotch region, and i'd have to turn away, not to mention that big sweaty gut was slapping in my face as well. ewwww..... :|

 Me too!! When I saw them in July the guards in front of me would step on that thing too .. I spent all of Do You Like It staring at this guy's huge gut .. plus my hand was on the rail so when he stood up and leaned against the barricade my hand was between his legs practically .. ugh, the things we have to put up with at an olp concert :P

Yes Raine has gone back to his BM dance. Also last night he went back to his Molesting/harassing stage also.

When ever he sings I feel him close he would lean on Mike, Jamie or Duncan. he stop doing it for awhile, but Last Night Steve was inginated into the M/H hall. Now he is one of them. Haha.

You know I was in front and except for this BITCH behind me this was definitly calm compared to other Hammerstein/ OLP shows.

The only problem I had was the security guard who stood in front of the stage all night. Sometimes right under the bands. I know when Audiovent and Greenwheel Guitarist came to the edge of the stage he just stood there. This was the only guard who did it. ALmost blocking your view of the bands.. I was like can't you stand off to the side like everyone else. he is in all my photos.

Hahaha. The more I hear about Raine live on stage the wackier it gets...

spasmic "birdman" dancing?
band member molestation?
singing OMA 15 ft from thh ground and jumping?
yelling at the crowd whenever they mess up the lyrics?

Grr.. and to think I could have seen them live on the 10th in Chicago had I noticed the date earlier, before the tickets were sold out.

at the last show i went to he put the mic of to some kid during OMA, so that the kid could sing along, and the kid was like, "uhh...i dunno the words...", and Raine just scoffed and rolled his eyes. It was classic.

Last night we were right in front of Duncan in the front row and my gf got kicked in the eye and in the head at least 5 times. Every 5 seconds we had to deal with a crowd surfer. It was not fun. Birch Hill was better in terms of crowd. Next time at Hammerstein im going for side balcony b/c this was a annoying crowd. The same 3 people crowd surfed at least 20 times. its ok we were grabing them really hard and scratching them :P

hahaha...the same people do crowd surf!! and you know they're the ones who aren't really OLP fans, and they just went cause it was something to do or they got dragged there by someone else. At the Philly show, this one blonde kid crowd surfed by at least 7 or 8 times, and one of the security guards told him that if he did it again he'd get kicked out. Sadly, I actually knew the kid. He was a friend of a friend, and he didn't know OLP, and was just dragged along, thought he'd make the most of the resources he had.

i don't have many objections to crowd surfing in general, I mean, Raine does it, so it's gotta be cool right? hehe, ANYWAYS, but yeah, I totally think it's annoying when people do it just cause they have nothing better to do, or to piss off the people in the front.

And then deal with smelly feet while they crowd surf, not so much

Well, I think that crowd surfing is annoying and Raine's advocating it by doing it. I dunno. Some people are stupid, like that girl that jumped off the balcony after Raine did it. Well, I know he doesn't like mosh pits, so hopefully, he won't jump in the crowd and start beating people up.

See, THAT'S just moronic. That girl, jumping off.

Raine's in the fucking band, it's guaranteed that he'll be caught because if he isn't caught he'll be hurt severely and there will be no concert.

There's no guarantee that the girl will get caught, because she's just pulling a stunt and trying to look cool.

That's what I think, anyways.

Crowd surfers don't bother me much either .. it's just a part of the whole concert experience .. doing it once or twice is fine and most people end up doing it just cuz they need to get out of the pit and that's the only way to go! The guys who did it over and over and deliberately kick people on their way by are annoying but the guards always give them hell. Last olp concert the majority of the surfers were girls/guys who needed to get out of the pit cuz of injury or they just couldn't handle it anymore so just help them out, duck and be glad you're not them :P

yeah. what I meant is that the people who do it over and over again because they don't like the band and are bored is just plain annoying. That's how it was at the Toledo concert. Getting lifted out because of injury is another story. That's fine with me.

but still, I don't think that Raine should be advocating crowd surfing. :|

I don't think Raine is really advocating it .. that's just like blaming crowd surfing on the SOT video cuz it shows people doing that. It's gonna happen at concerts no matter what ..

I guess you're right. at every concert there's going to be some stupid kid who thinks they can be like Raine and jump off balconies.

Yah, some people go to shows JUST to mosh. They'll go to shows of bands they don't even particularly like.
