Aug. 13th Philly Show!!

also reading all your post made me think.

when did the EC get that way. I was able to meet the band before hand. I was right near their bus.. I got there and just walked along the side. This was about 8ish or so. No security gurads chased me away or anything like that. There was also 2 other people there. We got to see everyone. the two people got their pictures with everyone.

the guards were like that at the Northern Lights show. Wouldn't let anyone near the back. I know they are doing their job and all. But come on.
With Northern Lights( the person I was with walked up to Duncan) we just walked up to the band and they talked with us.,

it use to be so easy to meet the band. Now it seems unless you get there early or know someone you can;t meet them. :love:

I probably saw you there.. me and some girl were plotting to start a revolt and just have the crowd trample those 2 security gaurds lol..

ARGH! If I had known that you just had to buy the Gravity CD there I would have, just to talk to them again lol :oops:

OH! so before we were put behind that gate, me and my friend and my sister sat ourselves right in front of the door of their tourbus. A guy with a camera came to us and asked us a couple questions about Our Lady Peace like "how long have you been fans..", etc. We answered all the questions and then after he asked us if the things we said were used on OLP's DVD if we would be okay with it... we were like HELLS YA! :love:

Were you the girl who told the security guy that everyone was going to just rush over him, and then he said that he'd catch at least one person, cause i was like HELL YEAH. I wanted to run over that guy. It's the worst feeling to see olp just standing there, and you're stuck on the other side of a gate. :mad:

I actually was around the tour bus for a while, before they came back out. The guy told me to leave, but me and my friends were talking to the guitarist from Audiovent and he was nice enough to tell the security guard that we were with him, but then he had to go, and we only lasted another five minutes til we were dragged off...

Woah, Gail, where did you end up standing at the concert, beings that you were outside at 8. Maybe meeting them before the show is the way to go, BUT i waited three hours out in the heat to get my front row spot and i wasn't about to give it up unless i was guarenteed to meet them. none-the-less you're one lucky person. oh well, next time they come around i'll replot my attempt to meet them. :mrgreen:

yup..I had met and talked to Steve and the rest of OLP before when I went to the Birch Hill concert, but I was hoping that at the Factory concert I could talk to Raine and Duncan a little more...but it was cool seeing Steve again and getting Gravity autographed by him :love:

That's cool though, I gotta work on meeting the rest of them. Next time they come around town I'll be down there trying my hardest. It's become a mindset. Must meet all of OLP... :evil:

tomorrow...i thought that concert was tonight. I WISH I COULD!!! I'm so addicted to seeing them in concert now. Every time i see them the hunger becomes more!

the concert tonght was postponed...Raine's got throat problems or something. If they reschedule it for after sept. 1st i can actually go...please...please.... :love:

There is nothing I'd love more than to see them a third time this summer....oh my God, I'm an obsessed fan!!!! I've reached the plateau....but it feels so goooood. Gotta keep dong it... :mrgreen:

First off I got to the EC at about 8ish
second- I didn't care to go in to see Greenwheel( I will be going to 4 more OLP shows and saw them 5 times all ready)

Yes, I am lucky I guess. I made my way up to front row extreme left. I am spoiled. I have been up front for every OLP show I have been to in the last 2 years. it is a major difference when you aren't in the front anymore. I am so spoiled.

I feel bleesed. I have been extremely lucky where OLP are concerned. I sold my soul to the DEVIL :evil:

(that is Duncan to some of you-satan) for OLP- :love:

You know security was like that with Alantic City yesterday. it was me and a few people near the bus. None of the band shad aproblem with it. The girl told me the guard had problem. he left us along. there were about 6 of us when Duncan, Jeremy and Steve came around and we were taking to them.

the show was postphoned right after the soundcheck. Raine got really sick and couldn't even sing. When security came and told us we thought they were kidding. I went with two other people to where the bus was. We saw Duncan and spoke with him. the band had dinner with the big wigs at the casino to smooth things over. We saw them before they left.

No you aren't losing your mind. I don't know when the show is rescheduled.

what did you do to Steve that he looks like that. I will also say this there were about 7 cars that followed the bus. I only hope they didn't bother Raine. From what we heard he must of been dead to the world on the bus. Poor guy.

Is it Raine's throat or something else...poor boy. :| That's a great pic of you and Duncan. I wanna meet that guy so bad, he looks so nice. Haha, Steve...I don't know. I didn't do anything, but I think some girl was groping him from behind. I asked for a pic and he smiled and was all nice and said yeah, then I gave my camera to some girl to take the picture, and she was way too close to begin with, but I wasn't about to stop to give camera tips, and we got all in position, and snap, it was over. But all these people were hollaring at him, and touching him, so I think it had something to do with that, not me. I HAVE to meet him again now...I need a good pic with him to frame, not to mention the rest of OLP. Next time, I don't care what the security guards say..I take no prisoners... :mrgreen:
