Actually, I believe the movie "Eyes Wide Shut" is the inspiration for this video.

After watching it again it sort of does fit the song. This is the most sexual song they've written.

I mean there probably are a few others but not as clear as this. Reminds me in a way of Happiness Is A Warm Gun

Who would of thought the day would come where Raine would write something like this..I don't mean that in a bad way. You hardly had love songs from him. The last two cd's there were a few then this one..

All I know is Cake in the hair is a bitch to really get out..Almost as bad as sand..

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

I find myself wondering if the cake-fight was staged, or if Jeremy or someone just started one and they filmed it. That would be awesome.

...seems to have been done in more than one take though, so probably not.

They're not gonna post anything. I'll post it as soon as I get the CD in the mail, but god knows when that will be

Raine said the song was about god.

I like this song.

Unfortunatley the title makes me think of New Kids on the Block... which sucks.

First time was a great time.
Second time was a blast.
Third time I fell in love,
Now I hope it lasts.
I can see it in your walk.
Tell 'em when you talk.
See it in everything you do,
Even in your thoughts.
-Sarah

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

So I finally got my Deluxe edition Burn Burn in the mail today. I have to say that I love the music video for The Right Stuff and honestly wish it had been the first single.

It's actually a freaking b///in song as well. One of my favorites and there's really not a song on Burn Burn that I don't like.

But honestly if I had to choose AYDWSML vs. The Right Stuff as a first single, it would've been TRS. It's just much more memorable, especially the video.

Wasn't it partially due to us fans and negativity about TRS that the band decided to consider dropping it? Truly I think it was a gem, shame it'll probably only grace this DVD
Every line I've crossed has come undone, everything I know is somehow wrong.

If so, they would be wise never to pay attention to us ever again, lol

But yeah, I actually think it might have been. The live version just didn't sound good though, unless the rest of Burn Burn is so bad that we find TRS good all of a sudden now, lol :P (I hope not)

"The Right Stuff" should totally fuckin be a single! OLP has got to get wide exposure to it in some way!

There's gotta be a way to get this song out there (and no not in some lame promo attaching it to packs of beer). A single that's not tied to the album? A tie-in with a movie? I dunno, but this is a seriously great olp song. Hint hint Trustworthy.. time to talk to the guys..

Who's with me on this one?

I completely and totally second the motion. Everyone I've played this song for has absolutely loved it. This would be their biggest single in years, without a doubt.

Seriously Trustworthy, make it happen!

Haha, what a turn around from what we we're hearing 6 months ago when we thought TRS would be the first single. I have always liked the song and felt that it would be a huge single. My 12 year old nephew bought the album and TRS is his favourite song from it. I have no doubt that this song has the potential to expose the band to a whole new audience.

Yea the two bonus tracks are great.
Would had given a definite and needed boost of energy to the main album.

It's a little on the slow side without them.
