I hate Dutch music stores. They're so slow, no wonder that downloading songs is booming business. Muse's new single won't be out til next week, Gravity still has to be imported (so it won't come soon and will be expensive as hell, the guy in the store even said so) and the Incubus dvd is already three weeks late.

When you get it, get the one with Futurism as a B-side. It's an amazing song.

Thanks for the tip. I've downloaded Dead Star and In Your World. I'm going to buy the single tomorrow, hopefully I'll have a choice about the b-side, if so I'll definitely check out Futurism.

They only had the Dead Star / In Your World version, but that kicks ass too. I'll just have to download Futurism some day.
It was a good Muse-day yesterday. I got the single and they also had Showbiz on sale so I picked that up too. Excellent album as well, a little less bombastic than Origin of Symmetry, but still very aMUSEing.
And to complete it all, the only decent music show on dutch television played the video for In Your World.

I think Showbiz is so much better than Origin of Symmetry (yeah, can't spell). Not saying I don't like Origin of Symmetry, coz I do...I just think Showbiz is better
I'm trying to decide about the new singles - I like In Your World, but I'm unsure about Deadstar.

I prefer Dead Star. I can send Futurism to you at some point.

Futurism is a b-side on the Dead Star/In Your World single. Mail me if anyone wants it and I'll sort something out.

Futurism is good.
I haven't heard the live album yet, but I'm sure it's amazing. It's a double cd, with live tracks on one cd and a selection of b-sides on the other. I haven't heard any of those (except futurism), because they don't release b-sides in holland.
The live tracks are taken from the same concert as the dvd, which I'm planning on buying soon. Hopefully I'm going to win tickets for the screening of the dvd in a cinema in amsterdam, that would be sweet.

I've already seen it (well at least some of it). It is awesome.

Hullabaloo is better than awesome. I watched it three times yesterday and I still can't get enough of it. It's like having Muse play a live concert in your own room.

I really can't wait until their new album comes out...

Cool things about Hullaballo:
1. Matt's guitar-cam/Chris' bass-cam
2. The look of fear in Dom's eyes when Matt launches himself at the drum-kit
3. Dom's Slipknot impression (fucking hilarious)
4. Chris having trouble fishing and the subsequent impromptu barbeque
5. The version of Hyper Music that is played in part of the documentary

Those are my favorite parts as well (especially 3).
Muse was on BBC's Re:covered last night, where bands play one of their own songs and a cover.
They played Dead Star and Can't Take My Eyes Off You (by Andy Williams). They were great.
Finally, some very good news for American Muse fans: they will support System of a Down .

Amazing how far down a topic can slip. Where did all the Muse fans go?
Muse are recording a new album at the moment, should come out in spring 2003. Before that they're doing a song (House of the Rising Sun) for the Warchild album '1 Love', which should be out by now, and should be a very good album (with Muse, Jimmy Eat World, Stereophonics and more). Especially if this cover is just as good as their version of Can't Take My Eyes Off You...

Hey I saw something about them on t.v. because Celine Dion wanted to use their name in her new show and they said no, it was pretty funny actually, they called her music offensive and didn't want to be associated with her or something.
