First time I heard OLP the first thing I did was compare them to Smashing Pumpkins. Pretty sure the first song I heard by um was Superman's Dead. So this critic isn't alone with that thought....

I've heard the comparison a lot, too. I disagree, but I've heard it a lot.

I've heard OLP compared to Breaking Benjamin. Just because the comparison is made doesn't mean it's accurate

Reminds me of being told that Nickelback is better than Our Lady Peace because they're more popular.
Chad Kroeger is extra flexible. That's reason enough to love them right there!

LMAO have you guys ever seen that Youtube video of crippleback getting pelted with rocks while playing a concert in Malaysia or somewhere? hahhaha one of the funniest vids ever.
Haha, I've seen that. As soon as they walked on stage, the audience turned into an angry mob. They didn't even get through one song before having to leave.
Haha are you kidding me? OLP is better than Breaking Benjamin I love them and all, but given a choice between an OLP album or concert and a BB one, I'd pick OLP any day.

I'm a fan of both. Breaking Benjamin is awesome and also pretty great in concert, but when it comes to creativity and all-around depth to the music, the prize would go to OLP.
On a side note, BB's fourth is another album I'm anxiously awaiting.
