Living in the flat lands of Ohio for all my life I enjoyed going through the mountains of PA, WV, MD, NY etc. on the most recent road trip.
But you never know living in Brazil for your entire life, with their own mountain reigons and/or rain forests, the great plains of Canada could be a very interesting and welcome change.

My only experiance with Saskatchewan was driving through it every year.
Highway 16 to Saskatoon. From Saskatoon we'd take highway 11 to Regina, then the transcanada highway to Winnipeg.

i think saskatchewan is absolutely gorgeous. especially a bit more up north...there's some crazy beautiful lakes up there that no one seems to know about.
i love the open space and skyline. the 'land of living skies' logo we have is oh-so applicable. i enjoy being able to see sunsets, sunrises, and everything in between...whenever i go to the mountains, i start to feel horribly closed in.
i do love saskatchewan. i just hate the weather more than anything. well...i only hate the winter, cause i hate being cold. and luckily we have a very dry climate...i'd hate to have a wet winter like the east coast gets.
i was really surprised at how much worse a wet winter was then the dry winters up in saskatoon, i mean.. nothing is better than a stiff breeze off the north atlantic when its -10 to -20 out.. i mean even the -40 to -50 for a few weeks (or more) straight was bad but as long as the wind wasnt blowing (ie. you got lucky as hell) it didnt feel THAT cold (i'd unzip my outer shell) but the same cant be said about cold weather on the coast.. hell i didnt even resort to just a tshirt while playin hockey, none of us did.. the jackets stayed on haha (anything in the single digits however was another story lol)

We all want what we don't have, hey? Because all I have ever known is my small town, I have a fascination with cities. Particularly Toronto, because it has an actual and obvious music scene. We don't even have music class.
But living in a town with a population of 400 is nice, in a way. Although I think it is one of the reasons why I'm one of the few people that loves busy malls.

i love living in toronto. ideally i would be closer to downtown, but its a pretty great city - lots to do, good public transportation, diverse arts scene.
