I'm moving back across the state about two weeks before the concert, so I won't be that close. It will be about a six hour drive, and I can't do the concert AND work the next day!

This could may well be a strong posibility for me as well.

Nikka - Price check greyhoud to Buffallo and back. I'd pick you up there.

Same offer stands for anyone else.

Newark to Buffallo was $75
To Pittsburg as low as $50.50

Megan,
Don't you get a clean slate of sick/vacation days after the new year? ;)

I'll think about it :P I already took off a lot of time for December because I'm moving, and my brother's graduating.

My partner at work says she didn't take the 31st off, so it looks like I can probably get that off, and the just come home on the 1st. Is that what everyone else is planning too? If no one else is leaving on the 1st I can just drive up and borrow my parents' GPS to avoid a repeat of my first Canadian experience (read: total mental breakdown in the car while lost in Toronto).

I still have to think about it, cost-wise, because I'll be poor again by then.

Well that's good because I'm poor and could afford to share a hotel room with someone if it's cheaper than TO. XD

The Airport Hampton Inn wasn't bad at all.
I'll review the Airport Marriott come December.

I beleive the price was $180 (CAD) / $146 (US) per night

I believe I'm in for this. Although getting home will be a challenge. Seeing as I won't have access to a car that night.. :freak:

Matt avoided my question.

If you can't, though, I totally understand. I know it's a whole lot shorter for you to go the other way. A response of either "yes" or "no" would be greatly appreciated, though.

Kickerman, you rock for the offer, but sadly Greyhound to Buffalo's still $134.00 from here. Blah. If it weren't such an uncomfortable trip, I'd be more likely to say "that's not too bad"... but it's really quite unbearable and totally not worth that pricetag.

Oh, and I did look up flights. They're too much, too... but really not much worse than Greyhound, considering. Ridiculous. but yeah, too much for me.

Regardless of whether I make it or not, though, everyone who can has to go to this! You know you'll have a great time. I wanna see lots of happy CMers in the pictures of this event. :)

... and yeah, I'm pretty sure we usually pay about that or less for the Metropolitan.

Whoops, sorry! I won't be able to. It's too hard to make that drive. If I had 2 extra days I totally would.

Nikki, what about a trip to Albany? We have a Greyhound station out there, and a train station (trains are much more comfortable). I could pick you up there and we could head up together. I forget what part of NJ you're in, but it can't be too bad of a trip...
