I'll need a SS# DOB and an Address history dating back 10 years.
If everything checks out I'll forgo a drug test.

You can never be too careful :P

I really am having fun already. We both have the same sort of ideas about how things should be and he's amazingly easy to to get along with. So it's not like we argue over stupid things.

My mom is a decorator/designer, so she is basically leading the show on a reception and let me tell you, she has hit the ground running.

Well he's 21 (ya, I'm 24 :) and amazing mature. He beats me out on maturity most of the time. He's going to school to be a physical therapist, as a doctor. He loves loves music and plays the drums. And most importantly, he's an amazing person! I love his family too. They are seriously the greatest. Oh and did I mention he can cook? Not just cook, but cook well. So we won't starve! Yay!

Mormon weddings can be stressful, but are amazingly simple compared to most people. We don't spend a years salary on them. I'm not going to buy a Vera Wang dress. My mom is decorating. My neighbor has a sound system. It's just in the Church house in my neighborhood, so no need to rent a facility. I'm even getting married the day before my reception so it's not rushed and hectic!

Yay he sounds great Cass :) you didn't say how you met him. Is the "beardy Matt" look a permanent thing? Has he already done his mission or whatever you call it? (I don't know what age they go) If so where did he go, if not what will happen when he does do it and do you get to go to?

Haha! I did totally forget to mention how I met him. I met him in my singles ward in Salt Lake at a family home evening activity. Which is pretty amazing since neither of us ever really go! My roommate befriended him and invited him over a couple of times and the rest is history. He seriously hates to shave so that's just something he usually does in varying degrees.

Usually guys go on their missions at 19 but can go all the way to 25, I think. He already went on a mission and he served in Hungary. If a guy (or a girl) is married they can't go :) But there are senior missions that couples and single women can go on later in life, usually when they have enough money to not work!

Oooh Hungary's pretty cool.

Next question .... (sorry Cass) ... are Mormons as quick to start having babies as they are to get married?? ;)

Some do. Just depends on the couple I suppose. Don't expect one from me for a while!

he sounds wonderful! The cooking is a super duper stellar bonus. There is something totally romantic and bonding about making and breaking bread together.

so exciting

I think for the sake of us random dudes we should hear some flaws about this guy. He can't possibly be perfect. Make the rest of us non married (and non-being loved!) dudes feel more normal. hahaha!

Planning a wedding in advance is no fun. Do it all at the last minute.

lol, I could never leave it to the last minute!

And there's nothing wrong with my baby, sorry guys.

Nah, this time around I'm opting for classical. Thanks though :)

Classical? As in, a string quartet?
