Men go through some odd behavior over the love affair with their cars.
I'm so obsessed with my Integra I bought a 2nd car just so I could visit the shadier parts of town.

I'm pretty obsessed with my car. I'd save it before I saved my own life.

Eh I fucked up the liquid diet last night; mom made amazing cookies. Damn her. Haven't ate anything solid, today, though. Just a coke from mcdonalds on my lunch break from work and now i'm sipping a bottle of Tahitian Treat.

ahem.
i spot improper comma usage.
that is all.
however, i commend you on your use of the semi colon.

Semicolons are designed to show extended pause. Right? So are they truly improperly used as often as some think?

essentially, they link two independent clauses that don't use a coordinating conjunction. they're also used before a conjunctive adverb (such as however or therefore), and in lists sometimes when they contain internal punctuation (or in other words, a shit load of commas, and it needs to be made obvious where the distinctions between different elements in the list are).
that hopefully will make sense in the morning. it's too late to be talking punctuation.

I like to abuse commas. If you corrected me on comma usage, it would be time for the People's Elbow.

Less comma talk, more car talk.
In fact I think I'll make 2 seperate threads.
Back on the subject of this thread ...
I effin hate theives.
I once had some junkie bust out the passenger window of my Accord jsut to steal the tape deck. WTF?? If you were that hard up for cash you could had knocked on my door and I would had given you the $5 bucks it was worth!!

that would be have, not had.
and i don't believe in confining my grammar/spelling correction to a single thread. i correct where needed, and annoy the hell out of people at the same time. it brings me joy.

I hope it feels so good to be right.
There's nothing more exhilarating than pointing out shortcomings of others is there.
