And can Zuyama (or whatever the crap his name is) really throw over 100 mph on a regular basis?

He was owning my ass today on MLB2k7. Throwing between 97-102 MPH fastballs.

If he keeps the guitar hero to a minimum ... YES

He's pitched as 103 and even 104

ZUM! ZUM! ZUM!

Heard a pretty sweet stat a couple weeks ago.
Last year Zumaya threw more pitches above 100mph than the rest of the league combined.

D-Mat doesn't throw a gyroball. He throws a Shuuto. i posted a youtube link on the last page i think. looks pretty sweet.

yeah, maybe.

he said he wanted to at some point, but definitely admitted to not throwing it, so who knows.

anyway, that "shuuto"/screwball thing looks sick.

I couldn't watch Phil Hughes pitch today cause Sportsnet decided not to show the Jays game. Losers.

I finally thought the Royals weren't going to be awful this year. So much for that. And the Cubs suck too, why do I even watch baseball again, oh yea, that's right, beer. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm beer.

Dude, you have a lot to look forward to. The Royals already don't suck and they're losing way too may close ballgames.

And the Trib is finally selling the Cubs after this season. Word is Mark Cuban is interested. I'd be a little excited.
Even though you're right. The cubs do suck.

The Twins are sucking......eh, its typical of them until around June/July.

Johan having a bad start in april isn't really indicative of the Twins sucking.
Their offense has been really good, and their bulpen's been solid, except maybe Crain, who if i remember correctly had a bad start last year as well.
They might even be overachieving right now the way Ortiz and Silva have pitched.

Either way they're doing better now than they were at this time last year... and Garza and Slowey are pitching well in the minors.

Garza is pitching very solid. I've been impressed.

I guess I just hoped for a more solid start than last season.

I've just been so stoked since the NFL draft and the Vikings picking Peterson. haha! Sorta forgot about the Twins for a few days.

The lions should trade every defensive player they have and stack up the o-line. At least that way they'll be entertaining. then next year they can draft another reciever, err umm... focus on defense.
