Do the evil cows lay eggs?
Or are they the nog part?

Are there even eggs in eggnog, cause I'm not a fan of eggs, but I love eggnog.

Then what constitutes as the nog?

well, there's nutmeg in it too.
So it was EggNutmeg, which was shortened over time to Eggnumeg, then to eggnueg, then eggnug, then eggnog.

...I have no idea.

indepthinfo.com wrote:Many believe that eggnog is a tradition that was brought to America from Europe. This is partially true. Eggnog is related to various milk and wine punches that had been concocted long ago in the "Old World". However, in America a new twist was put on the theme. Rum was used in the place of wine. In Colonial America, rum was commonly called "grog", so the name eggnog is likely derived from the very descriptive term for this drink, "egg-and-grog", which corrupted to egg'n'grog and soon to eggnog. At least this is one version...

Other experts would have it that the "nog" of eggnog comes from the word "noggin". A noggin was a small, wooden, carved mug. It was used to serve drinks at table in taverns (while drinks beside the fire were served in tankards). It is thought that eggnog started out as a mixture of Spanish "Sherry" and milk. The English called this concoction "Dry sack posset". It is very easy to see how an egg drink in a noggin could become eggnog.

Ooooooooooooh, I was gonna say the nog had something to do with rum but then I thought about how not all eggnog has rum.

I can't accept this list because it doesn't include "The Killers - Sam's Town" or whatever that album was called. Perhaps there are 50 albums worse than it from this year, but in terms of expectations they went from a band that was certainly not brilliant but was able to put out an album full of mostly fun, catchy songs to one that puts out an album full of horribly boring music and are so full of themselves that they think it is the best rock album in years.

How is the drumming these days?

Umm, dude, he just took my top 50 list, made a thread, and posted it as the worst 50 albums of the year. And hopefully he has AIDS by now, because, well, he probably shouldn't live.

And never encourage someone like that to keep playing music. He thinks shit like +44 is real music.

Hah I know that's what he did but I thought the replies in this thread had already covered that fairly well.

And I wasn't really trying to encourage him, Aaron has flipped out on me in the past over some of the stuff I said a couple years ago when his band posted links to some recordings here. But if he is still drumming, I hope he's improved.

Honestly, you should just wish broken wrists upon him. No one needs another pop-punk catastrophe of a band out there destroying local music. His music never was good, it will never be good, and honestly, it needs to be stopped. Just flat out awful.
