I wish I'd actually known it was on, I would have watched.
I love football. I used to play goalie, and it was pretty darn hard to get a ball past me!

Anyone watch that Australia/Japan game today? I was almost tempted to turn it off with 10 minutes left and Japan up 1-0, but I had this feeling Australia could at least tie it up, and bam - 3 goals in 6 minutes. Pretty awesome stuff.

France tomorrow. I have my newly purchased scarf out and ready!

I hate the OLGC... Went to put a proline bet down on Korea, France and Brazil to win tomorrow. Would have given odds of almost 4:1. I go to the counter and apparently so many people have bet on this treble that they're not allowing anymore bets on just these three matches. If all three win tomorrow I will be mad I was jipped out of 20 bucks.

GREAT game! i woke up about 50 minutes in, but was poised for a comback the rest of the way because of how well they were attacking. They deserved at least a draw, but three goals was incredible.

Their defense looked a little vulnerable, but hopefully they'll be able to advance now.

I wish France knew how to use Henry properly... Abysmal effort.

Fucking America.

And Jim, you're lucky that bet didn't go through. France seriously underwhelmed their opponents today. Quite a sad game, really. Not to mention Togo had Korea on the ropes for a while there. It saved you from lots of worrying.

the Togo and Korea game was painful to watch in the beginning... nothing much happened except a bunch of yellow cards. the second half was much better though.

but still korea won 2-1! i know thats probably "nothing" coz i knew that'd happen anyway but PHEW and YAY.

Considering Togo's coach quit two days before the match, and Togo is the worst team in the tournament, I would say Korea got really lucky.

Brazil was disappointing, and fatty Ronaldo might as well sat on the bench because he sure didn't do anything on the field.

Spain and Ukraine should be a good one to watch today.

Same thing happened to me.

England were lucky today...

I'm thinking of picking the favourites for tomorrow's matches... Argentina, Holland and Mexico... proline is giving 3:1 odds on those three winning, throw in the Czech's on Saturday and it's 4.5:1 which is pretty good.

It wouldn't surprise me at all to see a draw in one of the Group C matches.
Should be a great day to watch.

Mexico? really? I have a feeling Portugal will be too strong for them and Mexico will go out to Argentina in the round of 16.
