depends on the camera, though.

some (like mine) come out very blurry without flash (flash on results in an automatically reduced "shutter speed"). I can't adjust the shutter speed on mine manually, so without flash it's much too slow and results in blurry pictures every time.

Every now and then I fall out into open air just to feel the wind, rain and everything.
And though the hum and sway gets me down
, I'll find the way to peace and openness.

Sometimes it's better with the flash on, sometimes with it off. It depends on the lighting at the exact second you take the picture.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

To tell you guys the truth, I got the grainy texture in my pictures using the sharpening and brightness/contrast tools from my photoshop program.

I just figured that I need flash for my camera to take clear pictures in motion. Without flash only works well under good lighting when there isn't much movement. My camera flash usually works way better than it did during the OLP concert...I should have recharged my batteries. :(
And if I don't make it known that
I've loved you all along
Just like sunny days that
We ignore because
We're all dumb and jaded
And I hope to God I figure out
What's wrong

Actually a lot of it also depends on what is in front of you. If there are heads in your picture between you and the stage, the flash is going to hit those heads and light them up while the stage in the background will then be completely dark in comparison.
