Alright. So this is going to be my first Our Lady Peace concert, and I think that realization has just kicked in, and I'm wiggin' out. Holy crap. I'm not going to be able to concentrate all next week.

You won't be disappointed. Which show are you attending? Halifax or Moncton? I'll be at both, so hopefully will see you there! Myself and Smooke will probably try to plan a get-together if you want to meet up before the show starts :duncan:

The Halifax one. And there's no way I could possibly be disappointed. Can't friggin wait.

Meeting up sounds neat! I'm headin over there after school, so that means I won't be around until... I don't know. A little after 4. Damn school. It's going to be pointless for me that day anyway. My brain's already going *OurLadyPeaceOurLadyPeaceshitshitfinallyOurLadyPeaceonemoreweekshitshitshit*

I'm in school. but all I can think about is this concert.

And I have a question

Has anyone had trouble getting cameras in or anything? I have to convince someone to lend me their digital cammera, and they think it's gonna get taken away...

ive never been to the moncton venue..... but i know here in saint john they aren't strict about that at all....
ummmm..... im taking my camera but if they try to take it from me im just going to go put it in my car...you could always do the same, and if you arent bringing a car you're welcome to use mine? haha.
i could give you my cell phone number or something.... but that may seem too sketchy for you, just throwing the option out there!
i doubt it would come to that anyway, they'll probably have no problem with it. just dont make it known that you're bringing one in...put it in your pocket or something.

FYI - at the Kitchener and London shows, Karen came out with a list of names of people who were allowed into soundcheck. We all stood in a circle and she read names, but she didn't actually stay organized and send people through as they were called. As a result, anyone who didn't have their name called could still stand in the circle, not say anything, and then walk in with the rest of the group. Each of our groups had about 10 people who were not on the list but got inside anyway.

That's so silly.

When I went to FOTTP ones (where the were more people than the teeny ones this tour) they'd only let you through once you'd given your name first and they'd checked you were on the list.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

right. If my complaint was about the number of people there, that would be a good point. But my issue is that I paid a lot of money for nothing. Not that I didn't have a great time, but the amount I paid for those two shows was ridiculous. At least the proceeds of one went to charity... I'm trying to feel better about that.
