The cool thing about ICQ was that you could leave messages to people who were offline and they'd receive them the next time they signed in.
I haven't used ICQ for years either, mostly because everyone else stopped so no one was on my list anymore.
I also remember my number! 70430971
Also, I have AIM, but I only got it when we were starting up the CM. Al preferred it and it was a better way to talk to a lot of American CMers and a lot of people who wanted to do trades for OLP stuff.
I have like 100 people on my list though. All OLP people, I don't even remember who most of them actually are, as many of them don't use the CM anymore.
So I rarely sign in to AIM.

i cant remember my icq but i do know it started with 1, and definitely had less digits than yours.
so why is aim better

Oh yeah! That reminds me, yeah ICQ ruled, I changed all the sounds into simpsons sounds, so it would have homer BURP when I received a message or say WOOHOO when someone signed in etc...
It was wicked awesome.

Yeah same. Not saying that it's a problem, but it would be tough convincing people to do this.

hahaha yeah it is a shock when you realize there is a 'generation' that don't know a song or a band or a pop television show...it wont be long before the kids who dont know Friends start posting here...
