I didn't go either. I had to work. It was funny cause my friend told me while her husband and her were watching it he asked her if Iwas in Philly? She said toldhim I didn't go but if I did I be at the Toronto or London shows.  ..MY friends know me so well.

I actually went to Live Aid in 1985.. Now that was an experience. A few of my friends went to Amnesty International in 1986.. While there ahve been charity concerts before, it wasn't until LiveAid that is went Global. What is really sad to me is 20 years later people are still living in Extreme Poverty.. Thatis so heartbreaking to me that in 20 years nothing was really done to help these peole. Let'shope things are done now.. We have the means to make it happen.

NIKKI:
that is horrible what you said aobut the people talking about Kayne West while they showed Children dying. Some people are like that.. Although most people I know or met are compassionate people who care.. There are some I met whose mind set is " if it is not me why should I care or bother?" It scares me that people like that still exist in this day and age..

I have an aquaintence kind of like that. He doesn't care about anyone he hasn't met.

As for people buying them and not wearing them, I've boughten charity bracelets and never worn them. I paid the money and it went to the charity, and that's the important thing in my mind. If I had a MPH one I'd probably wear it, but I don't see a lot of point in wearing an organ donations bracelet that's way too big for my wrist.

Okay guys, I really wanted to be the first to wish everyone a happy Dec. 10th White Band Day...but I'm just not staying up that late! I knwo I know, at this point it's honestly only another 20 minutes, but still, I'm so tired! Haha, and lazy.

So...I'll have to settle for being the first to wish everyone a happy- almost- dec. 10th- white- band- day.

Okay? So...Happy Early White Band Day everyone!!!

I'm so wearing mine. It's pretty sweet. :D

 Well that's silly.

I just bought a bunch from other charities. I'll have to give the extras out as gifties to whoever wants them.

I often wear my MPH band, and at Friday's U2 concert I got a ONE band... so I'm set. Some people near me at the concert were asking what all the white bands were for... how can you be a fan of U2 and not know that!?!?

I lost my MPH bracelet in Kingston.

Never go to Kingston. You'll lose a bracelet AND an awesome star earring, AND josh will make your drinks too strong and cause you to be violently ill. Damn.

We seem to have an issue with causality here...
