i remember a week-long strike back in the 6th grade.

extended spring break. :nana:

that was CUPE striking, and teachers not crossing the picket line. i was in grade 6 too. ^5 for same age.

So kids are back in school, and the government's using the wages they didn't have to pay the teachers to give the schools the things they want. Kind of ironic that some people tried to say that teachers were just in it for the money, when they essencially gave up two weeks of pay directly to kids. How many people do you know that would do that?

Since when did people lose the right to bargain for a fair wage? Since when it was illegal to break the law? Since Dictator Campbell went to Hawaii on a little booze spin.

:nod: yah, i was thinking the same thing as yannic, the teachers actually CARE about the students. not that i doubted heavily otherwise, but still.
