i also went to this show, it was amazing! the opening band pedestrian wasn't so bad, and this guy danko jones was a riot! i felt like the band really got into the crowd, and put on an amazing show. i couldn't believe it when they played in repair and waited, totally didn't expect that. they closed with naveed, one of my favorites, which made my night. i didn't see what was going on during world on a string, but i do know about the girls who were called up on stage. this girl was sitting down with her arms crossed looking like she was having a terrible time. raine goes "there is one girl in the audience who is breaking my heart... the girl with her arms crossed etc. and he got her to come up on stage and sit down with her friend next to the drums. all in all, best concert i've ever been to... definitely topped coldplay. that was a near religious experience.

Hah. So a girl who wasn't enjoying OLP live (8O) got to go up on stage and sit next to the drums?
Talk about cruel injustice.
*makes mental note to look miserable at next OLP show*

another thing about the show was that during the pedestrian set jeremy and duncan came on with him and played. after hearing those songs with a band i liked his stuff a LOT more than i did at the detroit show when he was playing solo, it seemed to give it more energy or something, can't expain it.

yeah but they know it is a ploy Nikki..
Bu tlook at it like this. you can tell Jeremy to just hand you a drumstick. I am going to tell him to just hand you one in Toronto when I se ehim next..
I forgot to mention this but in New Haven I was writing down the songs( I always do-habit. My friend use to work for her school paper so I do this atr everyshow I go to.) During one song Jeremy looks directly at me and mimicks me writing then says some to Raine who looks down at me. OH My. Even from Stage that man is riot..

We can do it together.

They'll be all "what's up with THEM?!!?"
Though, yeah, it might not be possible to pretend to not like watching OLP.
