they also had an article in People today about how they are teaching exocism in the churches. They also spoke how the movie is loosely based on the german woman Axtech spoke of.
I am a true believer in spirits and entities among us. I have even experience some evil spirits in my presence.. the first time I was in London I remember feeling this strange presence in the room with me.. It scared me so. I remember praying to god to protect me.. Within afew inutes it seems as if the presences disappeared..
I know that may sound off the wall crazy to some of you, but I am a spiritual person and believe that you can come in contact with good and evil spirits.. Do I believe someone can be possessed? I honestly don't know..I am a bit skeptical on this.. I just think it is more or less havbng the power inyour brain to do things normal people can't. What do you think people who are physic and clairvoyant are.. They are taping into the part of the brain most of us can't..
I get scared with this stuff. I remember when I was a small child being told that if you weren't asleep by midnight the devil will come take your soul. Maybea story made up to get kids to sleep, but it scared me. i use to crawl in be with my mom if I got up right before midnight. YOu be surprised what you believe as a child..
on the same token I believe I have a guardian angel who watches over me. there have been situations that I have been in in my life that I feel someone or something has kept me safe.

I don't think you're crazy, I feel the exact same way, really.

It sounds to me more like she had severe mental problems.
Yeah, no kidding. Sounds like someone with horrible anorexia...
But I really think that alot of people we dismiss as crazy really are posessed. I believe in it, and exorcism movies freak me out. My Dad had an experience that I'm not going to share here, but it is really amazing. And good, rather than freaky posession

Yeah, I think for people who, despite millions of tests by doctors, cannot be diagnosed under something(and this happens more often than you think), they are Possessed by an evil spirit. Maybe it sounds Farfetched, but not if you Believe.

if doctors don't know what something is, it doesn't mean it's without a doubt a case of paranormal phenomenon. it just means that doctors don't know what it is.

I had something doctors couldn't diagnose... I certainly wasn't possessed, though.

No, I do agree Saman, but i mean stuff like, within minds, things that cannot be mapped using a CAT Scan or a Blood test.

I say, I say, that all this stuff is very, very sketchy.

I think alot of things have a more simple explanation than we try to make it...but I just won't go there.

I believe in ghosts and such, so I suppose possession could happen.

I saw it tonight. I think it's pretty good. There were definately some really intense parts, and a few really cleverly set up scenes. I wasn't big on the ending though. But since it's based on a true story, I guess they didn't have a lot of choice in that matter. Also, be prepared for the fact that much of the movie takes part in court (with the story of the possession and exorcism interspersed throughout).
Definately worth the price of the ticket.
