One time I was in my room listening to the Arcade Fire EP, and then my mom walks in and she makes a face and says "what is this music? It sounds awful!" And i was like, ouch mom, ouch that hurts 
(seeing as they are my favourite band after OLP). now i know what it feels like for her when i make fun of all of her music. But I also hated the arcade fire on the first few listens but fell in love rather quickly. I think its like that for everyone. Nobody likes the arcade fire on the first listen. nobody. Especially the Ep. you have to listen to it at least 5 times before you can start liking the songs.

You couldn't be more right. It actually took me until I saw them live on the MuchMusic Video Awards (which totally sucked this year, btw. Unlike years past) and they were definately the highlight of the show. It made me go whoa. Blew me away. And I've been fan ever since
