1 + 1 doesn't always equal 2.... 1 + 1 can equal 11...
so given
1 + 1 = 2
and
1 + 1 = 11
it is therefore safe to assume that neither equation is incorrect, or "wrong". It just matters which way you go about answering the question. I believe having 2 contradicting answers from a single question is called a dichotomy... or in this case, a divine dichotomy.

Mathematics requires constant assuming. You add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers using our system of numbers assuming that the answer you get is correct because you followed the rules. When you say 1+1 can give you two different answers, you are assuming two different rules for "addition"... which means given the assumption you used to compute your addition, one of those answers, either 2 or 11, is wrong...
Which leads me to my point about the article... This professor is obviously assuming a lot of criteria, which in mathematics is usually accepted, as long as your assumptions have been backed by proofs or previous work... however his assumptions are not backed by any sort of previous research, so his results are not conclusive... you can make up any underlying assumptions you wish that will allow you to present a statistic in your favor. So mathematically speaking, I believe 97% is incorrect, stricly because his assumptions are not backed by anything at all, except possibly belief, which definitely doesn't factor into mathematics.

We won't actually know till someone reads his proof.

[10:57] <nikki4982> that you are!
Everyone be amazed!!! I know I am!
Also, it's amusing to go into the Fark thread because they brought up a lot of the same points.

An alternative to fuck.
Also it's like Nikki's favorite website in the whole world. She constantly compares it to the CM and Fark comes out on top.

Actually I've been on Fark a lot lately because I have nothing else to do while waiting for these programs to recover files from my corrupted harddrive.

It's like a news site with forums... but funny.

I assume he means the fact that Nikki said "his" rather than "her","his/her" or "their"
