I always think it would be cool to be a storm chaser. Go in the hurricane and report in it. That will be awesome for me.

catagory 1 hurricanes are stayable. 2's and three's might be if you on high enough elevation, and even then your really pushing it.
but 1's are fun.

What is really bad about this one was in Cuba one of the places hit hardest. devestation to the whole village, was homes only built 3 years ago.. They were built for displaced people from Hurricane Michelle(from 2002).. Now they are displaced again..
I was watching the morning news yesterday morning.. Channel surfing. It was just plain crazy seeing these forecasters staying where the hurricane was.. Jimmy Kimmel even made comment on it. Said somethign like if y ou aren;t like you have to report in the worse of the storm while those liked more get the pre-hurrican coverage..
all I know is they say this is only the beginning. I was just in Florida visiting family I was suppose to see last year till Francis hit.. They showed me these trees uprooted by the last hurricane( IVAN). We are talking about 100 year old trees with bottom's about 50 ft wide.. I do feel for these people. .Some are still getting repairs done only to possible have it destroyed again..

Yeah, when I was in West Palm Beach in January, most of the damage from last summer wasn't even fixed (other than major stuff that had to be immediately, like the roof on the house we stayed in being re-built).
I can't imagine living in an area that gets hit like this even semi-regularly.

Another thing, there is a new tropical storm called Emily. She is traveling fast through the atlantic and the U.S mainland is suppose to get hit once again, and is very likely will come in as another major hurricane.

Yes I have, but there are already 5 names storms in July. Thats a record. Plus I love weather, I know that sounds foolish and dorky, but weather excites me.

^^^ I first thought you said you like 'THe Weather Girls" LOL
It's raining men...
They said that this year will be worse then last. They seem to be coming earlier then normal. ALthough Hurrican season is late june to nov..
It could be that the Atlantic Ocean is accually a degree or two warmer then normal. It is setting off the weird weather paterns we have been having lately..

i promised i wouldnt
and its a party
where uh
i party
by myself given i have no friends here
but thats besides the point
i actually want jax to get hit by one (better than the ones that hit us when i was here last year)
cuz whatever one hit us did nothing. like. nothing. (total damage to the city was a few shingles randomly here and there)

I find it hard to believe you would really want a Hurrican to do damage to where you are.. My brother and sister-in-law had some damage to their home and it cost a few thousand to fix. Imagine if they lost everything.Well he did lose his job, mainly cause there was no job to go to..They live in Sebastian and Ivan tore through there. Everyone had some kind of damage done to their homes/businesses.
I also find it hard to beleive you have no friends.. You seem so outgoing and everyone seems to like you..

uh i didnt say i wanted damage here
i just want to experience what my folks did last year after i left
which are 2 different things
