actually, in terms of inital piercing, tongues are supposed to be one of the least painful piercings. but afterwards, depending on the person, there is swelling, and that can really suck.

it's funny how pretty much the only 2 in toronto are ridiculously close to me- one is a 10 min walk from my house, 3 min walk from work.. and the other one is between the bus stop and my other place of work. lol.
