If you want another perfect example of this watch Hitch. I loved it the first time, but now after reading this I feel a little ill. Every guy is a complete geek and every girl is drop dead gorgeous.

Well I meant geek in a very broad way. As in not societially (is that a word?) "hot". But all the women are.

I love how Adam Brody is some kind of geek. Whatever.

And then it's not really all that great for a guy to stick it out with a wallflower nerd girl, only for the guys?

Three things in that article made me very angry.

1.

Ashton Kutcher's "Beauty and the Geek," which pairs braniacs with bimbos for a "social experiment"

2.

"I think geeks are more successful. They're happier in the work they do," Koppel said. "And they're pretty faithful people, because they're certainly grateful for anything they have."

3.

I think geeks are intelligent enough to be wary of the idea that an attractive woman is interested in them," he said.

Feel free to speculate as to why.

I was thinking of this yesteday when I went Jean shopping. Stores themselves really make this problem worse. Trying not to sound full of myself, but I'm a pretty thin person (which my friends like to point out/make fun of), and in Stitches the jeans I was looking at didn't come in sizes even near big enough. It's fine and dandy that some girls are comfortable in size three, but please stock some sensible sizes.

It's weird, the opposite thing used to happen in stores. For years, I couldn't find jeans small enough, cos all they had in stock was like size 5 and up in every store I went in. I don't know who randomly decided one day to switch it in every store on the planet, but they seem to have accomplished their goal. :freak:

... it sucks for like, everyone else, but I must say... it's nice to now be able to buy jeans that fit me!!! :lol:

It's been discussed here before how much sizes differ. In the stores here size five (if they have it) usually isn't very big at all...

No way. I am by no means a fat person, but I'm pretty tall and athletic. At no time in my memory have I ever been able to wear a size five.
