I know the alphabet in sign language, so if i was stuck in a mine shaft with a deaf person that didn't read lips, I could spell stuff out for them.

- fluent in urdu. i can read and write it too
- english
- can read arabic, but i can't speak and write it, and i'll be damned if i know what any of it means
- can understand punjabi
- i can understand a few words of japanese

Southern Ontario English - fluent
Immigrant English - fluent
French French - conversational, read/write
Quebec French - conversational, read/write
Greek - conversation, can read, my spelling is horrendous
Latin - can read/understand and form simple sentences
Romanian - Casual and formal conversation, can read, once again horrendous spelling
Spanish - working on it
Japanese - Can count to ten!
HTML - functional
I can also read Old Futhark (the runic alphabet), bringing me to 3 alphabets in total. Still working on Cyrillic.

Cyrillic is fun :) I need to progress past the having to read words by working out each letter at a time though cos it takes forever to read anything :(

I can recognize full words now, my reading is really good, but my writing. Ohhh man.

english - omg im special
spanish - im really good at reading it, speaking im okay, and writing im good at.

My problem with cyrillic is that it has a lot of characters borrowed from greek that... don't... make... the same... sound!!! It confuses me big time.

I don't understand why you learn spanish.. i think is not a important language :)

i know barely enough french to watch hockey games in french and get the gist of what theyre blabbing about
i understand telegu (one of india's official langs and my "native tongue" so to speak) and can speak when i have to but i tend not to and but cant read it
and uhhh thats it

Or just live in the US. :lol: A looooot of people here speak Spanish (and a lot of them don't speak English).
