the perks of being brown:

the pretty women:

left to right: aishwarya rai, rani mukherjee, juhi chawla, preity zinta, kajol, reema, and the classic, lovely madhuri

the pretty men:

left to right, shahrukh khan, amir khan, saif ali khan, hrithik roshan, vivek oberoy, and salman khan (if you're into guys built like trucks who can't keep their shirts on for five minutes and get their hair transplanted from the back onto their head every few years...)

the dancing: :GASP:

the romance:

the food:

music:

sonu nigam, nusrat fateh ali khan, adnan sami, hadiqa qiyani, abrar ul-haq, shehzad roy, alka yagnik. alas you can't put audio clips up on here, or else i would've put up a clip of sonu nigam's voice. gaahhh, so :drool:

and last but not least, the very, very pretty clothes. see "the pretty women" above.

in case you guys haven't noticed yet, i'm trying to show a serious glimpse into a few aspects of the south east asian culture. it's rather limited to india and pakistan though, because i'm not familiar with the cultures of the other countries and such. and, y'know, it's minus all the pollution and political corruption and whatnot

My friends...er they don't talk to me anymore much really...ouch, but anyway their family's make the best Indian food ever. I could sit there and stuff myself for years. :drool:

i used to watch indian movies with my friend. she loves hrithik roshan.

the costumes and singing and dancing were always neat. but the stories didn't always make sense. i remember one about a biscuit that someone was trying to steal and a wedding was interrupted, so they started singing and dancing, and then there was a goat. i dont know if i was hallucinating or what. but that's what i remember. :nod:
