You feel the need for your hair to match your clothes? I've never done that.

I know one lesson. I, have naturally very light blonde hair. I've been dying it BLACK for ages. Now, 1: It looks like a WIG, and also now on top its like BLONDE. 2: Jet black goes with NOTHING.

I'm getting my hair stripped next week, because the top half of my head is like, blonde blonde blonde.

Then you can all see Blonde Sinead.

well bright orange and red for some reason just didnt appeal to me

idk

I'm weird with clothes. I mean if i dont care i dont care, but when i do, im kinda OCD about it, if that makes sense.

Like if i wake up and say "today i want to pick something out to wear" then its gonna be something nice(or insanely stylish and hip and cool ) and something i really like. (AND FITS ME!)

If i wake up and im like *roll out of bed, dig around on the floor for clean laundry* then its gonna be whatever i find that looks OK and doesnt smell too bad

ok so im not THAT messy but u get the point ;)

ok maybe i am :(

I had black and burgandy hair for awhile.

Not alot went with that though, er.. well kinda.

it was blue/black and burgandy. ha. that lasted.. not very long

the black stayed in forever and ever but the burgandy faded fast into a brown./orange

I meant the actual hair dye name, it wasnt blueish black, but blue black hair dye makes it look almost fake black

Sinead, if you think black hair makes your hair look fake, and you don't want to be blonde why not go a medium brown colour?

AnnieDreams wrote:I've been dying my hair purple for close to two years now, and I can't get it to stay. Last time I dyed it it only stayed in for a few days. :uh:
I bleached it months ago to make the purple brighter/stay longer, so now I have blonde streaks. :uh:

When I had blue hair, I used to wash it with cold water. Like, I'd take a shower with warm water but keep my head out of it... and then I'd make it freezing cold and do my hair while avoiding the water with my body. Then I'd make the water warm again for the places where the water hit me and I got cold.

I still turned the shower blue, but it lasted a while. Until the yellowness from the bleached parts started showing through and it looked green in places.

You didn't let it fade long enough. Mine went green, yellow, pink, pale blue, grey, some bright blue that stuck around forever, my natural brown cos I didn't do my whole head... it was fun.

And by "fun", I mean "horribly horribly ugly".
